La Ciudad de Mexico is the capital city of Mexico and one of the most important political, cultural, educational and financial centers not only in Mexico, but in North America. The city is filled with glamour, cultural heritage and historic architecture and monuments. Every corner of the city is sprinkled with stories to tell of famous personalities and the Aztecs. This ancient tribe discovered and gave the city its culture and heritage, which has since been integrated with Spanish culture for hundreds of years.

Day 1: Arrive + Welcome meal at El Balcón in Zócalo

Prior to the Colonial period, Zócalo was the main ceremonial center of the Aztec city of Tenochtitlán. The plaza used to be known simply as the “main square” and today it’s formal name is Plaza de la Constitución.

Day 2: Coyoacán to visit Frida Khalo's house + Mercado de Coyoacán

The Frida Kahlo museum, also known as The Blue House, is a historic house museum and art museum dedicated to the life and work of Mexican artist and her husband, Diego Rivera.

Day 3: Tour of Aztec capital, Tenochtitlán + optional Jazz performance at Zinco's

The city was the capital of the expanding Aztec Empire in the 15th century until it was captured by the Spanish in 1521. At its peak, it was the largest city in the Pre-Columbian Americas.
